JUST FOR TEENS
Alpha Park Library’s Teen services include a dedicated Young Adult collection of fiction written specifically for readers for readers 12 and up, found on the first floor of the library, near the computer room. Audio books of many of these popular titles can be found with the adult audio book collection.
Alpha Park also hosts programming specifically for grades 7-12 monthly. Teen programs are a great place to make new friends and enjoy activities year-round.
Summer Reading Kickoff
Wednesday, May 30th, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Sign up the WHOLE FAMILY for the Summer Reading Club at Alpha Park Public Library! Registration begins at the kickoff event. The program will run until July 28. The kickoff party is a great time to get signed up, pick up all the information, and enjoy snacks and face painting. If you cannot make it to the party, don’t fret! Sign up at the library anytime after May 30.
Intro to 3D Printing for Teens

Students ages 12 to 18 are invited to the library to take a class on how to use our 3D printer. We will get you set up with an account on thingiverse.com so you can design items at home, walk through the steps on importing and sizing a print, and demonstrate how the printer works. Humans vs. Zombies

Teen DIY: No Sew Pencil Case

Students ages 12 to 18 are invited to learn how to make their very own decorative pencil cases. We will demonstrate how to make the cases using plastic bags and duct tape.
