The Reference Department staff are available to assist with accessing the library’s materials and resources, computer and printer use, research, and general information. We're happy to assist with finding books, using technology, research projects, and general use of your library. We also provide fun and educational programming for adults.

Access Services is generally the first point of contact at Alpha Park Public Library. We work to ensure our patrons have access to the library’s collection! The Access Services Department is composed of two branches: Circulation and Technical Services.
- Circulation checks items in and out for patrons, answers general questions about the library’s materials, services, and policies, and also manages patron’s accounts and holds. Circulation staff also provides Curbside Delivery.
- Technical Services is responsible for acquiring new materials for the library, as well as cataloging those items and repairing them when necessary.

The Youth Services Department strives to provide easy access to a variety of materials, in multiple formats, to meet every reader’s needs from ages 0-18. We invite your families to connect with our play-based materials, fun and educational programs, and our popular tween and teen events.

Outreach Services are brought directly to patrons in order to reduce gaps in access and increase community connections. Services include Pop-up Libraries, Homebound Deliveries, Talking Books for the Blind, Free Little Libraries in the Bartonville area, and so much more!
