The Building and Grounds Committee’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting an annual inspection of the library’s physical facility to identify areas which are in need of repair and making recommendations to the full Board regarding any and all repairs which are deemed necessary either as a result of the annual inspection or throughout the year as the need arises. The Building and Grounds Committee meets quarterly on the second Thurday of the months of January, April, July, and October at the Alpha Park Library in meeting room 1 with the agenda being posted at least 48 hours in advance of each meeting. All meetings will begin at 4:30pm.
Alpha Park Public Library is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Alpha Park Public Library
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
